Tribe of 6, a sustainable clothing brand based in Kuwait, has opened its first standalone store in The Avenues Mall in Kuwait. The store is set to showcase trendy and sustainable clothing made from recycled organic and bamboo-based fabrics that use less harmful chemicals, and are certified by the Global Recycling Standard (GRS). The brand is also committed to eco-friendly practices, such as using paper price tags made under the guidance of the Forest Stewardship Council, and ensuring ethical working conditions and wages for its employees through oversight by Sedex, an ethical trade membership organization.
The opening of the store was attended by key influencers, artists from the fashion industry, special guests, and officials from the Alshaya Group, which manages Tribe of 6 as part of its portfolio of over 90 brands across Mena, Turkey, and Europe. Jazz Hayer, the President of the New Ventures Division, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating that the brand is “passionate about sustainable and inclusive fashion” and that they “look forward to sharing our vision with the community across the region.”
Tribe of 6 also recently launched its e-commerce website in the UAE, offering customers an “exciting and rewarding omnichannel experience.” The brand caters to mindful shoppers who seek locally produced leisurewear made from sustainable and biodegradable materials.
