The fabulously festive Christmas wonderland that is Fairmont the Palm once again hosts the Dubai Panto team for the ultimate beast of a fun family pantomime this December!
Loosely based on the 18th century French fairy tale La Belle et la Bete, the story is still as popular and morally relevant today…and has all the classic ingredients for a fun filled family pantomime! As punishment for his selfish actions, the handsome young Prince Beauregarde is transformed into a monstrous beast by a mysterious enchantress Madame Pain Au Chocolat.
If he can learn to love someone and earn their love in return, the curse will be lifted. Enter a young bookworm Bella, know lovingly as Beauty who stumbles upon the castle and is taken prisoner by the Beast whilst searching for her lost father Felix Malolly.
With help from her friends the hilarious French Franc and his outrageous mum Dame Tayah Le Sweeft, Beauty comes to appreciate and love the Beast whilst all the while evading an arrogant admirer, and sidekick to Madame Pain, Gaviscon, who wants to kill the beast and marry Bella himself!
